Ram is an operations and manufacturing executive with over 30 years experience in the automotive area. He currently is the Program Management Director for General Motors Electric Vehicles “Ultium” propulsion systems. His experience includes overseeing manufacturing engineering operations for transmission and engine programs, responsibility for GM’s Powertrain operations in Asia, launching the Chevrolet Bolt EV, and running engine operations. Ram earned an undergraduate degree. in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also serves on other professional and non-profit boards.
